Answer:

True

Explanation:

A Juvenile according to the law, is a person under the age of 18 years involved in an Illegal act. They are not regarded as adults under the law as they are not tried in an open court or given the same punishments as adult criminal offenders. Instead, they go through a process of rehabilitation. The process of rehabilitation begins with obtaining a Predisposition Report.

A Predisposition Report is predominantly used in cases of juvenile delinquency to ascertain the right rehabilitation program for the Juvenile. The report is drafted by a probation officer and subsequently given to the judge to rule on. The report contains all the information on the Juvenile, which includes a medical history, the offence committed, social records, etc.  However, it is important to note that, the process differs in states.  This process helps the court adjudicate the matter as all the necessary facts and evidence are before it.

Alenkasestr [34]

Answer:

The Right to Vote

The 15th Amendment, ratified in 1870, presumably guaranteed the vote to people of color. Nevertheless, the oppressive and violent racial system in the South prevented African-Americans from voting. Some Mexican-Americans faced similar obstacles when attempting to vote. President Lyndon Johnson asked Congress in 1965 to issue legislation enforcing the spirit of the 15th Amendment. This request came after the savage beating of protesters in Selma, Alabama, during a march to encourage African-American voter registration.

The 1965 Voting Rights Act required districts with histories of extremely low minority voter turnout to seek federal approval before making any changes to election laws. Over the years, voting patterns changed and the Democratic Party began receiving undeniable support among African-Americans and others. These racial minorities have played a central role in national elections, including the 2008 and 2012 elections of President Barack Obama.
