How did the compromise of 1850 affect slavery during manifest destiny
aksik [14]
Manifest Destiny basically mean, "EVERYONE MOVE TO THE WEST NOW!" But with no slaves, how would they create farms to maintain themselves? Easy: expand slavery. However, this was battled against by several sources to create the Compromise of 1850. The compromise delayed the Civil War, despite politicians knowing it will eventually happen. It bought them time-- that was important! Other new states like Nebraska and Kansas were allowed to allow slavery or not. This eventually grew to where the North had no slavery and the South did, which lead to the Civil War.

Which phrase about ancient Egyptian society is TRUE?
maksim [4K]
Choice D is the true statement about ancient Egyptian history. Social mobility is not impossible because slaves that can read and write can become scribes, and therefore, can save up money for their families. They can move their way up by serving the government.

Islam developed in SW asia and was based on the teachings of ___
a_sh-v [17]
The answer is Muhammad(PBUH)

It can’t be A.) because to us Muslims Paul isn’t a prophet, apostle or a big deal

It could be B.) and C.) because Moses and Jesus (PBUT) are both highly loved and respected Prophets in Islam.

But it is most likely D.) because Muhammad (PBUH) is the most important prophet. He is the ‘seal of the prophets’ because he was the last and the one who revealed the Quran - the Islamic holy book.

Pls give me a brainliest if this helped thx
