Answer:

Explanation:

Remember we are on the side

Of the angels; danger we condemn

However, we cannot hide

From the fact we are not them

I feel like this part means inherently we are good ( we walk on the side of angels) However despite our best efforts we are not angels and awe show that we are not by lying, cheating, stealing ect.

Often we must act the devil

And play along with sin

But remember too, we do not revel

In the suffering of our kin

So often in our lives we forget the goodness we have in us and we sin mainly we hurt ourselves.

kicyunya [14]
The correct answer is D. the use of the flashback.
This is the only characteristic of modernism among the abovementioned - repetitions, contradictions, and the universal appeared in many other eras as well, but flashbacks were rather important during modernism. Disruptions of the natural flow of narration was a common thing during this era, so it is only natural D should be the correct answer.

"I watch the ball leave his hands like a bird up high, skating the sky, crossing over us." What is the ball symbolic of? A the f
diamong [38]

Answer:

A. the father, Chuck Bell

Explanation:

This question is about "The Crossover" and narrates the final moment of the story that presents a strong symbolism and a moving resolution about the relationship between the narrator and his father. When the narrator compares the ball with a bird, it means that he saw it flying over the sky and somehow, for him, it symbolized the spirit of his own father, who despite being in the sky, was close to him.
