50 divided by 50= 1
1 plus 40= 41
41 minus 60= -19

Hope it helps.

Choose your equation (btw they are written a tiny but differently but either way they are both the same answer)

A.) Well the first step is this: 50/50 is 1 right? right. so 1 + 40 = 41 - 60 = -19

B.) Well the first step is this: 50/50 is 1 right? right. so here 40-60=-20 + 1 = -19

Ricardo has a square hot tub. He wants to build a square pool next to it that is a dilation of the hot tub using a scale factor
Dimas [21]
Let x be the length of the side of the hot tub. Ricardo wants the pool's sides to be 5 times as long, so

5x=24\implies x=\dfrac{24}5=4.8\text{ ft}

A fair coin is tossed three times in succession. The set of equally likely outcomes is StartSet HHH comma HHT comma HTH comma TH
liq [111]

The probability of getting exactly zero tails is 1/8.

Step-by-step explanation:

When a fair coin is tossed three time, the set of equally likely outcomes is:

S= {HHH,HHT, HTH, THH, HTT, THT, TTH, TTT}

n(S)=8

Let A be the event that there are exactly zero tails which means there are all heads

Then

A= {HHH}

n(A)=1

P(A)=\frac{n(A)}{n(S)}\\=\frac{1}{8}

The probability of getting exactly zero tails is 1/8.

Give the name of the parent function and describe the transformation represented.
kirill115 [55]
The parent function, here is
f(x) = x² which is upward opening parabola.
In order to get a graph of f(x) = x²-1, shift the parent function, f(x) = x² by +1 unit downward. This is the transformation.
