Get like numbers together so get the p with the p and the extra numbers together and if they changes sides change their signs so if it was positive and you switched sides it would then become negative so:
5p-9=2p-12
5p-2p=-12+9
Then continue the problem and add or subtract depending on the signs.
5p-2p=-12+9
3p=-3
Then get the p only. To do that you need to divide by 3 since you are multiplying it on its starting side.
3p=-3
p=-3/3
p=-1
So you get a final answer of p=-1

The volume of a larger cone:

V_l=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi\cdot4.5^2\cdot(3+6)=\dfrac{1}{\not3_1}\pi\cdot20.25\cdot\not9^3=(20.25)(3)\pi=60.25\pi\ cm^3

The volume of a smaller cone:

V_s=\dfrac{1}{3}\pi\cdot3^2\cdot6=\dfrac{1}{\not3_1}\pi\cdot\not3^1\cdot3\cdot6=18\pi\ cm^3

The volume of the frustum:

V=V_l-V_s\\\\V=60.25\pi-18\pi=42.75\pi\ cm^3

An apartment building produces $4,000 per quarter in gross rents. The maintenance expenses run $350 per month. Property taxes ar
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

0.16%

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of rent per quarter = $4000

Cost of rent per year = 4×$4000

= $16,000

This means that the apartment building produces $12,000 per year in gross rents.

Yearly Expenses are as follows;

Maintenance expenses per year = 12×$350 = $4200

Property taxes per year = $1,750

Mortgage payment per year = 12×$650 = $7800

Total expenses per year = sum of all the yearly expenses

= $4200+$1,750+$7800

= $13750

Yearly revenue generated = Cost of rent per year - total yearly expenses

= $16,000-$13750

= $2250 (net operating income)

Capitalization rate is given as the ratio of the net operating income to the market value of the building.

Capitalization rate = net operating income/market value of building

Since the building with $83750, that will be its market value

Cap rate = $13750/$83750

Cap rate = 0.16%

Solve for the unknown number!
Rina8888 [55]
On the left side use distributive property:
3(n) + (3)(4) = -6 + 15n
3n + 12 = -6 + 15n
Subtract 3n:
12 = -6 + 12n
Add 6:
18 = 12n
Divide 12:
18/12 = n
You can simplify it further:
n = 3/2 or 1.5
