It may be (12w)/6=0 then solve by multiplying 6 and dividing by twelve

2yd because 12 divided by 6 is 2 so the width would be 2 yds unless the question has more question involved

What is the equation of the line? Write in standard form. (4,5).
dezoksy [38]

Answer:

\large\boxed{5x+4y=20}

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept → (0, b)

We have the x-intercept = 4 → (4, 0), and y-intercept = 5 → b = 5.

Therefore we have the equation:

y=mx+5

Put the coordinates of x-intercept to the equation:

0=4m+5 subtract 4m from both sides

-4m=5 divide both sides by (-4)

m=-\dfrac{5}{4}

Finally we have the equation of a line if slope-intercept form:

y=-\dfrac{5}{4}x+5

The standard form:

Ax+By=C

Convert:

y=-\dfrac{5}{4}x+5 multiply both sides by 4

4y=-5x+20 add 5x to both sides

5x+4y=20

Which equation can be used to solve the problem? How many shelves that each hold 16 books are needed to hold a total of 112 book
stepan [7]
Start without thinking of the options. You could do process of elimination, and that's fine, but to learn this kind of problem it's better to think it all the way through. The problem says you have 112 books, and an indefinite number shelves, s, that each hold sixteen books. You need to fit 112 books into shelves, each with sixteen books. That comes down to 112÷s=16, which is the same as 16s=112.

Find the domain of g(x)=1-2x^2
Ivan

The domain of the expression is all real numbers except where the expression is undefined. In this case, there is no real number that makes the expression undefined.

hope this helps :)

How do you do
8(4x+7)=56
lilavasa [31]
Multiply 8 to 4x and 7 so it looks like 32x +56=56 then you subtract 56 from to 56 which equals zero. Your equation should look like 32x=0. Divide 32 by 0 which equals 0. X=0
