First, you want to make the denominator's the same so you find a common denominator. 9 times 2 equals 18 so 18 is your common denominator.Since you multiplied 9 times 2 you need to do the same to the numerator,so it's 10 over 18( 10/18). Then, you want to multiply 1 times 9 to get the numerator of 3 1/2 which gives you 9 over 18 ( 9/18). Now that the denominators are the same just subtract the numerators which gives you 1/18. Lastly you want to subtract the whole numbers.3 subtracted by 2 is 1 so your answer is 1 1/18

can I see the formula for this question. Find the distance traveled in 20 seconds by an object traveling at a constant velocity
Butoxors [25]
You need the formula: feet per second = feet/second
Now you have to recast the formula to:
feet per second * second = feet , because you want to know the number of feet.

At the bottom is the answer.

At last you have to insert the values:
28 feet per second * 20 seconds = 560 feet

2.) The -2 in the fraction moves your x-intercept to the to the right 2 units. Without the -2, your x-intercept would be (1/2,0)

Domain:

(-∞,2) ∪ (2,∞)

Range:

(-∞,-4) ∪ (-4,∞)

What is the answer?????
KiRa [710]

Answer:

x = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

2 sides are 4 less than x, that is x - 4

The perimeter is the sum of all 3 sides, thus

x + x - 4 + x - 4 = 19, that is

3x - 8 = 19 ( add 8 to both sides )

3x = 27 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = 9
