Democracy is known to be a system of government in which the citizens vote in the general election by choosing their leader to represent them in government. Thus, citizen’s rights are guaranteed. Also, it is characterized by the right of the people to vote, does not encourage same set of people to stay long in power or to use more than their tenure, equality of citizen’s right, the government is responsible to its citizens and so on.
