A monarch usually inherits the throne from his/her parents. So when his or her parents die, they inherit the throne. Sometimes they may overthrow their parents.
The womens sufferage was a time when women were not allowed to vote. To stop this, many bands of women got together and protested. Because of the this the 19th amendment was established.
