The first answer is A because to find the unit price, you would have to divide 2.34 by 6 and then multiply the quotient by 20.
The second is B because when you follow the steps in A, 2.34/6= 0.39 and 0.39x20= $7.80

The answer to 5 is A. And the answer to #6 is B. Here is why: So the cost for 6 pens is $2.34. So, you want to find the unit rate. The unit rate basically, in this case, would be how much on pen costs. So to find how much one pen costs you would divide 6 into $2.34. That would give you .39¢. Now to find out how much 20 pencils would cost you would multiply .39¢ by 20. This would give you $7.80. Do you see it now? I hope this could be helpful!

An analog signal with a bandwidth of 36MHz is sampled at a frequency (fs) of 36,000,000 samples per second during the ADC (analo
Elza [17]

Answer:

The signal would have experienced aliasing.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

the bandwidth of the signal f_m = 36MHz

= 36 × 10⁶ Hz

The sampling frequency f_s = 36 × 10⁶ Hz

Suppose the sampling frequency is equivalent to the bandwidth of the signal, then aliasing will occur.

Therefore, according to the Nyquist criteria;

Nyquist criteria posit that if the sampling frequency is more above twice the maximum frequency to be sampled, a repeating waveform can be accurately reconstructed.

∴

By Nyquist criteria, for perfect reconstruction of an original signal, i.e. the received signal without aliasing effect;

Then,

f_s \geq 2f_m

∴

The signal would have experienced aliasing.

The average outstanding bill for delinquent customer accounts for a national department store chain is $187.50 with standard dev
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

Probability that the mean outstanding bill is over $200 is 0.0526.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the average outstanding bill for delinquent customer accounts for a national department store chain is $187.50 with standard deviation $54.50.

Also, a random sample of 50 delinquent accounts is selected.

<em>Firstly, Let </em>\bar X<em> = mean outstanding bill</em>

The z score probability distribution for is given by;

          Z = \frac{ \bar X - \mu}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n} } } ~ N(0,1)

where, \mu = average outstanding bill = $187.50

            \sigma = standard deviation = $54.50

            n = sample of delinquent accounts = 50

Probability that the mean outstanding bill is over $200 is given by = P(\bar X > $200)

  P(\bar X > 200) = P( \frac{ \bar X - \mu}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n} } } > \frac{ 200-187.50}{\frac{54.50}{\sqrt{50} } } ) = P(Z > 1.62) = 1 - P(Z \leq 1.62)

                                                         = 1 - 0.94738 = 0.0526

Therefore, probability that the mean outstanding bill is over $200 is 0.0526.

Answer:

x = 20 / √3 = 20√3 / 3

Step-by-step explanation:

AC² = AD² + BC² = x² + x² = 2 x²

AF² = AC² + CF² = 2 x² + x² = 3 x²

3 x² = 20² = 400

x² = 400/3

x = 20 / √3 = 20√3 / 3
