The most likely observation BEFORE the experiment is noticing the number of tulip plants that sprouted late in a garden, this would give you a reason to do the experiment.

Just so you know, the 3 other options would all have to be done after the experiment because:
1) you cannot measure plant growth in response to different fertilisers before you start the experiment as the plants haven't been introduced to the fertilisers yet!
2) you cannot determine mass of product from a chemical reaction yet because if the experiment hasn't started yet the reaction is yet to take place!
3) the plants won't have had time to germinate yet!

Why is this statement false? "The amount of carbon on our entire planet can increase or decrease depending on the fluctuations o
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Carbon cycle is the process by which the carbon in the atmosphere of earth is exchanged and released in the biosphere and atmosphere of the earth.

The statement listed above is false because amount of carbon is increased or decreased by the burning of fuels not by the fluctuation of the carbon cycle.

This cycle is only the path way or the procedure sketch of how carbon is transformed and exchanged in the atmosphere it is not a cause in any way to reduce or increase the carbon content.

Summarize how earth atmosphere and surface receive energy
shusha [124]
Energy is transferred between the earth's surface and the atmosphere in a variety of ways, including radiation, conduction, and convection. The graphic below uses a campstove to summarize the various mechanisms of heat transfer. If you were standing next to the campstove, you would be warmed by the radiation emitted by the gas flame. A portion of the radiant energy generated by the gas flame is absorbed by the frying pan and the pot of water. By the process of conduction, this energy is transferred through the pot and pan. If you reached for the metal handle of the frying pan without using a potholder, you would burn your fingers! As the temperature of the water at the bottom of the pot increases, this layer of water moves upward and is replaced by cool water descending from above. Thus convection currents that redistribute the newly acquired energy throughout the pot are established
