What did Chargaff discover while studying bases in the DNA of organisms? The bases in the DNA of each organism were unique. The

ratios of thymine and adenine were similar, as were the ratios of guanine and cytosine. The overall percentages of bases were different from one organism to the next. There were equal amounts of all four bases in every organism, or 25 percent of each base.

Answer: The correct answer is - The ratios of Thymine and Adenine were similar, as were the ratios of Guanine and Cytosine.

According to the Chargaff's rule, in a DNA molecule, the amount of Guanine (G) is equal to the amount of Cytosine (C) and the amount of Adenine (A) is equal to the amount of Thymine (T).

This is because A pairs with T and G pairs with C.

This means that the ratio of T and A are similar, as are the ratio of G and C.

Which three structures are found in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells? cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum, DNA ribosomes, DNA,
hoa [83]

Answer and Explanation:

Eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells share the presence of:

- cytoplasm, in which their organelles are dispersed.

-the cell membrane, which covers the cell by shaping and regulating the passage of substances (in and out of it).

- ribosomes, are the place where proteins are synthesized.

In addition, both cells possess DNA although this is not the same in both. In the eukaryotic cell it is linear and is within the nucleus, while in the prokaryotic cell it is circular and does not have a true nucleus that protects it.

At wich point in the eukaryotic cell cycle does mitosis occur
Hoochie [10]
Mitosis in an eukaryotic cell cycle occurs after the G2 phase (option b). This is the final stage of interphase and during this time, the cell continues to grow as well as create new proteins. Successful completion of this phase results in the commencement of Mitosis.
