French also supplied American military’s arms. They secretly sent arms supply to American in 1775.  It was Benjamin Franklin who urged France to participate in the Revolution as an ally of America. French was forced to spent money in order to help America for their aid and to pay their National debt. Because of this, it affected the economy of France.</span></span>
