The equation would be 2w-3=9. Do the inverse operation for '3' on both sides of the equation. Then do the inverse operation on both sides of the equation for '2w'.

If we change the equation for the quadratic function form y=2x^2+3x-5 to y= -2x^2+3x-5 describe what changes in the graph.
r-ruslan [8.4K]
First convert them to vertex form

first one is y = 2(x + 0.75)^2 - 6.125

2nd is   y = -2(x - 0.75)^2 - 3.875

the -2  will cause  a reflection of the first equation in the x axis . then a translation  down  of 6.125 + 3.875 = 10 units , followed by
  a translation of  -0.75-0.75 = -1.5 units to the right = 1.5
