I need a little bit more information to give you a numerical answer but essentially he is going to have to save more than $20 a week if he wants to start college right after graduation.

For a numerical answer I need to know how much his tuition is and how many weeks he has before his high school graduation.

What is the area of this parallelogram? 10.35 cm² 12.5 cm² 20.25 cm² 30.6 cm² Parallelogram A B C D is composed of a square and
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

30.6 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the parallelogram is simply the sum of the areas of the component three shapes - the square and the two triangles.

Area of square = 4.5 cm × 4.5 cm = 20.25 cm²

Area of two triangles = 2 ×(1/2) × 2.3 cm × 4.5 cm = 10.35 cm²

Area of parallelogram =  20.25 cm² + 10.35 cm² = 30.6 cm²

A water rocket is projected vertically upward from the ground. Its a height(h) m above the ground after t seconds is given by h=
Morgarella [4.7K]

The rocket will reach the ground after 4 seconds

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Find the time when the water rocket reaches the ground.

When the water rocket reaches the ground, the height, h will be zero.

⇒ h = 20 - 5(t - 2)²

⇒ 0 = 20 - 5(t - 2)²

⇒ 5 (t - 2)² = 20

⇒ (t - 2)² = 4

⇒ t - 2 = √4 = 2

∴ t = 2 + 2 = 4 seconds
