30 times by 6 because it goes down by 6 which is 180 and take awat from 12 which is -168
And don't forget that it is a negative. so leave a minus before the number.

The value of the 30th term is <em>-168</em><em />

According to our sequence, we are subtracting 6 every time. If we look at our number line though, we notice that we start 2 terms before we get to zero, so we an multiply our -6 by 28 because when we multiply we start from zero and the term we are wanting, our 30th term, is actually 28 terms away from zero. So:

-6 * 28 = -168

And this is our answer of the 30th term in the arithmetic sequence.

Thank you for your question! I hope this helped! Have an amazing day and feel free to let me know if you have nay further questions! :D

how much time will it take a car to travel 60 kilometers if the car is traveling at an average speed of 40km/hr?
lbvjy [14]

In the question, we are given with speed of a car and the distance it have to travel.

Given:

  • Speed of the car = 40 km/hr.
  • Distance to travel = 60 km

So, we can say that in 1 hour, the car can travel 40 km. And we have to find the time taken by the car to travel 60 km.

This can be easily done by using the Speed, Distance and Time formula which says:

\large{ \boxed{ \bf{Distance = Speed \times Time}}}

So, let's solve by using this formula.

⇛ s = v × t

⇛ 60 km = 40 km/hr × t

⇛ t = 60 km / 40 km/hr

⇛ t = 3/2 hr.

⇛ t = 90 mins or 1 1/2 hours

So, time the car will take to travel 60 km:

\large{ \boxed{ \bf{ \purple{t = 1  \dfrac{1}{2} hr}}}}

And we are done !!

What is the equation in point-slope form of the line that passes through the point (-1, -4) And has a slope of -3?
Reptile [31]
Point-slope form is y- y_{1} =m(x- x_{1} ) where y1 and x1 are your points from the coordinate and m is the slope.  So yours would look like this: y-(-4)=-3(x-(-1)) or y + 4 = -3(x + 1)

(Right angle Trigonometry) help me solve for X please!
Vinvika [58]

Answer:

x = 52.0

Step-by-step explanation:

Reference angle = 68°

Length of side Opposite to reference angle = x

Adjacent length = 21

Apply the trigonometric function, TOA, which is given as:

Tan 68° = Opp/Adj

Substitute

Tan 68° = x/21

21 × Tan 68° = x

51.9768238 = x

x = 51.9768238 ≈ 52.0 (approximated to nearest tenth)
