10)So plug in the value of a + 3 into where the x of the equation
r(a+3)=  6                                  6        *you can simply if you want*
            -------                        ______
             (a+3)8  distribute=24 + 8a

11) f(-2)=n whenever you have f with a # inside the parenthesis know that they're giving you the x value so f(x)= and on this side is the y value but on tables y value are titled as f(x). So f(-2) is 3

12)Instead of giving you the x-value they gave you the y value this time "=9?" on the bottom. So you go to the f(x) column and find 9 and the # next to it which is 0

What is the solution for 4(x + 1) = 2(3x − 2)?
Schach [20]

Answer:

x = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Distribute parenthesis on both sides of the equation

4x + 4 = 6x - 4 ( subtract 6x from both sides )

- 2x + 4 = - 4 ( subtract 4 from both sides )

- 2x = - 8 ( divide both sides by - 2 )

x = 4

A right come has a volume of 24pie cubic meters and a radius of 3 meters find the height of the cone
JulijaS [17]
Hello!

The equation for find the h when given volume and radius is

h = 3 \frac{V}{ \pi  r^{2} }

h is height
v is volume
r is radius

Put in the values you know

3 \frac{24 \pi }{ \pi  3^{2} }

Since there is pi on the top and bottom we can get rid of it

multiply the 3 by the top number

\frac{72}{9}

the answer is 8m

Hope this helps!

Cosine is a trigonometric function. The value of cos(x+π), when the value of cos(x)=-(√3)/2 is √3/2. The correct option is A.

<h3>What is a cosine?</h3>

Cosine is the trigonometric function equal to the ratio of the side next to an acute angle to the hypotenuse in a right-angled triangle.

Given the value of cos(x)=-(√3)/2, therefore, the value of x can be written as,

cos(x) = -(√3)/2

(x) = cos⁻¹ [-(√3)/2]

x = 5π/6 = 150°

Now, the value of cos(x+π) will be,

cos(x+π)

= cos[(5π/6)+π]

= cos(11π/6)

= √3 / 2

Hence, the value of cos(x+π), when the value of cos(x)=-(√3)/2 is √3/2.
