Answer:

B

It's not A bc the people themselves don't remember why they have the ritual, they just have it.

Not C bc the characters dont see it as exciting, it is suspenseful and on top of that, while reading it your first thought wouldn't be about how "exciting" it is.

Not D bc they don't view it as fun. There are people in the story who have said that some parts have discontinued the ritual bc it is inhumane.

Why did Swift title his work "A Modest Proposal"?
madreJ [45]

Answer:

The reason why Swift titled his work "A Modest Proposal" is because it uses satire, which is the type of writing that defines the whole text. The title is not meant to be taken seriously, but instead, it is meant to be a joke. "Modest" is something that is not very ambitious.

I hope this helps a little bit.

How many different types of sources should a typical MLA style research paper have?
Margaret [11]

Answer:Usually 3-4 reliable sources should be sufficient. This should be enough external information to complement your original thoughts/ideas. With too many sources, the essay becomes a compilation of opinions from other writers instead of your own.

Explanation:

When deciding how to cite your source, start by consulting the list of core elements. These are the general pieces of information that MLA suggests including in each Works Cited entry. In your citation, the elements should be listed in the following order:

Author.

Title of source.

Title of container,

Other contributors,

Version,

Number,

Publisher,

Publication date,

Location.
