Iced tea debate and salty soup
Ghella [55]

Answer:

The heat caused the water to evaporate. In the Ice Tea debate the tea is changed from a liquid to a solid. This shows that the matter which is the tea is conserved but it is just in a different form of state. In the salty soup scenario, the water is turned into vapor.

Answer the following considering Chargaff's rules. Suppose a 100-base-pair, double-stranded DNA molecule consists of 50% of guan
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

250 H bonds

Explanation:

The Chargaff rule states that a  DNA molecule has the following features-

1. Purine binds pyrimidines through hydrogen bond

2. The sum of purine and pyrimidine is equal to 1.

3. Adenine binds thymine always (involve two H bonds)

4. Guanine binds cytosine (involves three H bonds)

In the given question,

guanine bases- 50, therefore, cytosine bases will be 50

H bond will be 50 x 3 = 150 bonds

Similarly,

Adenine bases will be 50 equal thymine which will also be 50

double H bond will be - 50 x 2= 100

Total H bond will be- 250 H bonds.

Thus, 250 H bonds are the correct answer.

Interactions between organisms and their environment impact the organism’s overall population. Oahu Amakihi and Kauai Amakihi ar
Lunna [17]

Answer:

The given association between the Oahu amakhi and Kauai amakhi can be illustrated by the notion of the competitive exclusion principle. In ecology, competitive exclusion principle is on certain occasions also termed as the Gause's law.

On the basis of this principle, the two species contending for the similar restraining resource cannot live together at the obstinate population values. Even if one of the species possesses a small advantage over the other, then the one with the plus will govern for a long time. This leads to either a behavioral or the evolutionary shift towards an altered ecological niche or the culmination of the weaker contestant.
