In order to find the cost of each CD, you would have to divide $38.04 by 4 CDs and you would get $9.51 as the cost of each CD. If you want to check if your answer is correct, you can either add $9.51 four times to get $38.04 or you can multiply $9.51 x 4 and you should get $38.04 remember that multiplication is always a way to check your answer for division problems and division is always a way to check an answer to your multiplicatiom problems. Just search it up for more info. Hope i helped! :)

The roof of a tower in a castle is shaped like a cone. The height of the roof is 30 ft, and the radius of the base is 15 ft. Wha
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

The area of the roof: ≈2287.44 ft^2, the lateral area of the roof:≈1580.58 ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the roof is computed by the equation of the area of a cone:
A = πr(r + \sqrt{h^{2}+r^(2) })
(r: radius, h: height, πr^2 is the area of the base of the cone, πr\sqrt{h^{2}+r^(2) } is the lateral area of the cone). So:

A = 15\pi (15 + \sqrt{30^{2} +15^{2}  } ) ≈ 2287.44 ft^2.

As I stated earlier, the lateral area of the roof can be computed:

AL=15\pi \sqrt{30^{2} +15^{2} } ≈ 1580.58 ft^2.

Find the GCF of the monomials: 32x^2 and 24x^2y
aev [14]

Answer:

8x^2

Explanation:

First, do prime factorization of each of the coefficients:

32   ⇒   2^5

24   ⇒   2^3, 3

The greatest common factor (GCF) of the coefficients is 2^3 = 8.

Next, find the GCF of the variables:

x^2

x^2, y

The GCF of the variables is x^2.

Finally, multiply the GCF of the coefficients by the GCF of the variables to get:

8x^2

omeli [17]
To get the growth factor from a percentage increase, express the percentage as a decimal, then add 1.
  256% = 2.56
  2.56 + 1 = 3.56
