Biology

Answer:

The food chain is very important. It needs to be running smoothly because if an animal gets extinct, it may create a domino effect. Animals rely on food (prey), to live. If that prey dies, they may not have another food source. If this happens, then that predator would starve and die as well.

How can the cells in a multicellular organism differ from each other when they all have identical DNA
aleksley [76]
Well all cells in a multicellular organism have the same exact DNA (except for sex cells). But what makes each type of cell different physically and functionally is the genes that are expressed in those cells. So for like example a different section of the DNA molecule is expressed in a nerve cell than a skin cell.

The fluid mosaic model describes the plasma membrane as consisting of
Hoochie [10]
The answer is e, as in terms of d, proteins are not sandwiched between the two bilayers, but wedged in the bilayer to selectively let in different molecules. With c, phospholipids do not drift, into the membrane, for it is the membrane itself. With b it is the other way around, the phospholipid bilayer makes up the membrane, and proteins are embedded into it. Lastly, for a, a fluid mosaic model wouldn’t portray phospholipids drifting in the dark phospholipid bilayer, as they are an independent molecule consisting only as the cell membrane. Hope that’s helpful! :)
