I need a decent opening statement for a debate that public schools should have uniforms. I need help coming up withers something that i can add or edit.!

If we want to appreciate learning, promote equality, senses of community, feelings of harmony and synchronization, self discipline, safety, improve attendance and increasing sense of attachment with the schools then YES, we must promote this trend, we must appreciate uniforms in public schools.

Apart from bringing all of these benefits which have been manifested in the opening statement, uniform also helps in tracking the outsiders and intruders in the schools, they can be identified very easily. Moreover, it will be less burden on the parents in term of purchasing more cloths for the kids. Furthermore, all kids develop a feeling that we all are the same, which in return promotes love and affection.
