The anwer to the question above would be that the sentence that contains a pun is the following one: I could not remember how to throw a boomerang, but it eventually came back to me.

In order to understand the pun, you need to know what the meaning of "boomerang" is. A boomerang is "a curve stick that, when throw in a particular way, comes back to the person who threw it". Here the pun has to do with the fact that memories can also come back to you, just as boomerangs do.

The answer would be C. Boomerangs, when thrown, are made to circle back to the user who threw it. The pun is a play on their memory returning to them just as a boomerang would come back to them.

levacccp [35]
The mood of a verb refers to the manner in which the verb is expressed.
Most verbs are indicative and are used to express statements of fact or opinion.
The imperative mood is used to give orders and make requests.
The interrogative mood asks questions.
The conditional mood expresses a condition or a hypothetical situation.
The subjunctive mood can express wishes, doubt, or contradictions.
A shift in the verb mood occurs when more than one mood is used in the same
sentence. Unnecessary shifts should be avoided.
