Answer:

seminal vesicles

Explanation:

The seminal vesicles, also known under the name of seminal glands, are the structures responsible for the production of approximately half the volume of seminal fluid in men. These consist of a tube folded and rolled on itself.

Anatomically, it is located in a region called pelvic excavation. This is located behind the urinary bladder and in front of the rectum. It attaches to the prostate through the lower end.

The ejaculatory duct is formed by the excretory duct of the seminal vesicle and the vas deferens. Both converge in the urethra. It is a single male organ and there is no equivalent or homologous structure in females.

Describe the pros and cons of the treatments used for each of the sickle cell anemia patients investigated in this activity.
notka56 [123]
Sickle cell anemia is caused by an abnormal hemoglobin in red blood cells. hemoglobin is the red pigment found in red blood cells for carrying oxygen. The abnormality arises from a genetic mutation in the DNA gene that codes for the beta chain of the protein called globin of which hemoglobin is made of.In the beta chain, the sixth amino acid called glutamine is replaced by another one called valine. This one change in the amino acids cause the hemoglobin protein to behave abnormally, causing red blood cells to lose their normal spherical shape and become bent like a sickle, hence the name "sickle cell" anemia
