They will move by ficilitated transport through specified protein carriers that will help ions such as Na+ /k+...ect to pass through the membrane.

Answer and Explanation:

<u>If the plasma membrane is permeable to sodium</u> (this means that sodium particles can go through the membrane), there will be a net movement of sodium from the inside of the cell to the outside of the cell, because there is a <u>tendency to equate the concentrations</u> between the intracellular space and the extracellular space - this process is called diffusion and it's generated when there's a <u>difference (</u><u>gradient</u><u>) in the concentration of a particle</u> between two sides that are separated by a permeable membrane.

<u>If the plasma membrane is not permeable to sodium</u>, sodium particles will not be able to diffuse through the membrane. Instead, the <u>gradient in concentration will make the water move</u> from the place with less sodium concentration (extracellular space) to the place with the higher sodium concentration (intracellular space), again to equal the concentrations between the two sides - this process is called osmosis.

Explain why genes located more than 50 map units apart behave as if they are not linked.
OlgaM077 [116]
This is on account of every chromosome just has up to 50 units so when it surpassed this number it's on an alternate chromosome, along these lines it can't be connected.
One can decide whether qualities are connected or not by taking a gander at the posterity and deciding the recombination recurrence you can do this by taking the aggregate number of posterity that were recombined and partitioning it by the aggregate

A - DNA as the inheritance materials B - RNA as the inheritance materials C - The formation of organic molecules, e.g. nucleic a
Stels [109]

EXPLANATION:

There are 2 types of nucleic acids: DNA(deoxyribonucleic acid) and RNA(ribonucleic acid).

Living organisms have their genetic material in their DNA. Viruses use RNA as their genetic material but are usually called non-living things( because they can't reproduce without help from a host).

The function of nucleic acids has a progression from DNA to RNA to proteins. This is called the central dogma of molecular biology.

Nucleic acids are formed by a linkage of polynucleotide chains with phosphodiester bonds. These polynucleotide chains are formed from monomers called NUCLEOTIDES.

A nucleotide is made up of 3 parts:

i) a nitrogenous base

ii) a five-carbon sugar

iii) at least one phosphate group.
