I need help in Algebra 2. I don't understand where to start or how to solve this equation.

 I think the answer in what is in the attached file. I use a website called symbolab I don't know if this is correct but symbolab will show how i came up with the answer if you put your a equation in. Hope this helped.

I believe 1.) is x=y-4/2 and 2.) x=y-4/2 as well

Step-by-step explanation:

1.)

y=2x+4

-subtract 4 on both sides-

y-4=2x

-divide 2 on both sides-

x=y-4/2

2.)

y=2(x+2)

-distribute the 2-

y=2x+2

-subtract 2 on both sides-

y-2=2x

-divide 2 on both sides-

x=y-2/4
