Which revolution may have the greatest impact on the future quality of life for people on Earth?

The American Revolution, historically speaking.  We set up the playing field for other countries to have their own revolutions.  People from different countries saw that a little group of people that had hardly any resources, decided to turn against a higher power, and chose that they didn't want to be bullied.  Guess what we on.  We have become the greatest and the one of the most powerful nations in the world.  Other countries still look up to us.
