Apartheid was a segregation system in South Africa that prohibited from blacks and whites to do numerous things away from one another. This started in 1948, and many people did not agree with this as it affected their everyday lives. Blacks were not allowed to live in white neighborhoods or even interact with white people. One of the first things that happened as a way to abolish apartheid was the numerous political groups that would protest to get rid of apartheid.
