N is the pattern number. Like if u wanted to know how many squares would be at 10 just do. 3(10)+1
Relative frequency is the number of times that the train is late between the total of journeys, so only multiply 0.15*100 =15 times
You have to add a 1 underneath it so it's reciprocal is 1
