Where did the Asteroids form?

Geography

Answer:

Option (C)

Explanation:

The frost line is considered to be the line that is marked by the boundary between the terrestrial and the Jovian planets. It is the point from which the temperature decreases sufficiently, allowing the water vapor to change in to ice crystals. In space there is no pressure and so the water directly changes its state from vapor to solid (ice) state, skipping the liquid state because at low pressure or absence of pressure, liquid does not exist.

The asteroids are the remnants of the solar system. In addition to that, the formation of Jupiter in the past blocked the formation of planets between Mars and Jupiter and due to the influence of Jupiter's gravitational force, these asteroids scattered in this gap forming the asteroid belt. This asteroid belt is somewhere near the frost line.

Thus, the asteroids were formed beyond the frost line.

Hence, the correct answer is option (C).

Why do most global ecosystems form broad latitudinal belts across the world?
Lostsunrise [7]

The fact that the global ecosystems form broad latitudinal belts is mostly because of climatic reasons. It works very simply, the shape of the Earth doesn't allow the sun to heat up the surface equally in every place, so on the equator and around it the sun heats up the Earth the most, as the latitude changes the sun rays become weaker and weaker because they fall at a smaller angle and are dispersing much more, this forms the different climatic regions on Earth thus creating different ecosystems with it, ecosystems that have their borders mostly on the lines of change in climate from one region to another, so we mostly have latitudinal belts of ecosystems.
