Answer:

Maps on a phone

Explanation:

We use the map on our phone to get places that where unfamiliar with. Without it it would be a lot harder to get places and a lot more calculations, but with our phones we can get that information in a second. People use it almost everyday since we need to go places for work, or just daily things that we need to do. We can also use it for when were in a recognizable area we can look to see where we are and the best way to get back.

Answer:

One piece of technology that is commonly used now, me included, is a refrigerator. I use a refrigerator to store and save food or drinks. Without a fridge, a lot of the food we eat would go bad and would no longer be edible.

Another piece of technology we use is the car. Cars make it a lot easier to get from one place to another if you are going long distances.

I am trying really hard to somehow type the right words and not get a 0 even though this is supposed to be MY OPINION. Sorry if anyone saw this I thought that the program would automatically grade this itself again :)

What physical feature allowed settlers in the Fertile Crescent to grow crops? sea tides flooding rivers natural canals eroding m
Drupady [299]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

The Fertile Crescent is basically where human civilization started. It stretches from Mesopotamia and across the Mediterranean coast to Egypt. Early civilizations depended on agriculture. To make agriculture, you need a river because it is a good water source to help grow your crops.

If you look at the map I have provided below, you will see that there are tons of rivers. This would make it very easy for settlers to grow crops. This means that sea tides and eroding mountains aren't the answer. I don't think the rivers were flooding and natural canals is an oxymoron because canals are artificial waterways, but this all should give you and idea.

Have a wonderful day! :D

Europeans used the Mississippi and the Amazon rivers to meet their business
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

The Europeans, apart from doing their business through the Mississippi and Amazon, brought diseases to the native populations.

Explanation:

When the Europeans started to explore the Americas, they were trying their best to establish the best possible foundations for business and to make a big profit from it. This led to using everything that was at disposal, and the large rivers, like the Mississippi and Amazon, were excellent for easy travel and transportation over long distances. While these rivers served the Europeans very well, it brought tragedy to the natives.

Not always the Europeans were agressive to the native populations, but actually, more often than not they tried to establish good relations with them because in that manner they were able to have greater benefit. Unfortunately, through the interaction, the Europeans transmitted multiple diseases to the natives for which they did not have immune system capable of coping with them. This led to mass dying out of native populations. Both continents were heavily affected by this, and while often forgotten, the Amazon basin, with the new discoveries and what has been written in the exploration books by the Europeans, might have had several million-strong populations, which dissapeared in only a few decades.
