HELP PLEASE (BRAINIEST and 50 points)
ladessa [460]
Okay so
passage 1: Passage one has a mostly positive tone. Allow me to explain. The words used can set a peaceful, calm mood and allow you to paint a beautiful picture in your mind. Words such as bobbed, lapped and quaint suggest calm movements and an enjoyable environment. However Passage 2 is mostly negative in tone. This scene, unlike passage 1 sets a miserable, dark mood, and seems like an unlikely place to be comfortable in. Words such as ragged, frigid, slapped and weathered suggests a worn raft, cold waters, and miserable conditions, perhaps life threatening. Therefore, it is negative in tone. To sum up everything previously stated, passage 1 has a mostly positive tone, whereas passage 2 is mostly negative.

hope that helped :]

Write one example of Argumentative Writing. Tell me WHY this is an example of Argumentative writing.
mezya [45]

Answer:

Example topic sentence: The U.S. should keep pennies as part of the money system because although pennies cost more to make than they are worth, they save consumers money in the long run.

Explanation:

This is argumentative writing because it is opinionated and trying to convince the reader that what they think is right. They are arguing that pennies are necessary.
