The correct answer to this open question is the following.
I think that the narratives of only a few African kings and queens are featured in television and movies because western civilization is not interesting in promoting the deeds and actions of the faraway African continent.
Analyzing and evaluating the case it seems that when western people think of the African Continent, they only think of poverty and diseases. And that is not the case.
The two ideas for how we can work to bring more positive awareness of the history of Africa's ancient and contemporary kings and queens to students today would be the following.
1) To try to present the history of Africa since the beginning of times, highlighting the fact that according to science and anthropology, South Africa was the cradle of humanity.
2) Telling the students than many important businessmen and investment companies are considered the African Continent as the future of prominent economic investments, the place to invest and open a business.
These two factors could change the negative ideas that in Africa there is just wildlife, corruption, dictators, and diseases.
