Pollution

Most environmental problems can be traced to three underlying causes; the number of humans on this planet, utilization of resources at a very fast rate and pollution.

Pollution is the contamination of the environment by the introduction of any substance (pollutants) which may be liquid, solid or gaseous that makes the environment dirty and unhealthy. The major types of pollution include land pollution, water pollution, and air pollution. Others include noise pollution and light pollution.

Carlson received a blue-eyed allele from BOTH of his biological parents. What is the term to describe this gene pattern
Bond [772]

Answer: Recessive Gene. Homo zygote Allele.

Explanation:

Each gene is composed of two alleles. Alleles can be Dominant or Recessive. A Dominant gene is always expressed on the Phenotype (XX/Xx); A Recessive gene expresses on the Phenotype if both alleles are the same (xx).

In this statement, it's implied that the gene that codes for "blue-eyes" is recessive, since both parents had to provide the same allele for it to express.
