I don't know how to do #86-#88. Any help?
SOVA2 [1]
86 and 87 utilize the Pythagorean theorem. Where those tangent lines meet the circle forms a right angle. So you have a side length of 6 and a hypotenuse of 22. So the missing side length is 21.16. For 87, its the same thing, but you have the 2 legs but are missing the hypotenuse.

Becky adds 3/4 gallon of gasoline into her snow thrower's empty fuel tank. She uses 1/4 gallon for the snowstorm on Friday, and
Kaylis [27]
Amount of fuel in the tank before the story begins . . . . . zero.

Total amount poured in . . . . . 3/4 gallon.

Total amount burned:
                   on Friday . . . . . 1/4 gallon
                   on Sunday . . . . 1/4 gallon
                        Total used . . 1/2 gallon .

Amount remaining in the tank on Monday:

               (3/4 gallon in) - (1/2 gallon burned)  =  1/4 gallon left.
                                                                        ==>  NOT empty

The tank would have been empty on Monday IF Becky
had poured in only 1/2 gallon, instead of 3/4 of a gallon
before the first flakes began to fly.

What is the answer to the equation: 6/4=15/x ?
Nat2105 [25]
To be able to find the value of X, we have to cross multiply the two fractions then solve the equation.
As so,

6/4 = 15/x

Cross Multiply:

6 x X = 6x
4 x 15 = 60

We cross multiplied, now we can set up the equation:

6x = 60

Simplify: (Get X by itself)

Divide 6 on each side

6 / 6x = 60 / 6
x = 60 / 6
x = 10

Now we have the total of X! To check our answer, we can substitute X for 10 in the original equation.
As so:

6/4 = 15/10

6/4 = 1.5
15/10 = 1.5

Correct! Our answer is X = 10!

Hope I could help you out! If my math is incorrect, or I provided an answer you were not looking for, please let me know and I will be sure to assist you further! However, if my math was well, and correctly, explained, please consider marking my answer as Brainliest! :)
