There are eight cities on the list.

The number of groups of 2 is (8·7)/2 = 28
The number of groups of 3 is (8·7·6)/(3!) = 56
The number of groups of 4 is (8·7·6·5)/(4!) = 70
The number of groups of 5 is (8·7·6·5·4)/(5!) = 56
The number of groups of 6 is (8·7·6·5·4·3)/(6!) = 28
The number of groups of 7 is (8·7·6·5·4·3·2)/(7!) = 8

So there are (28+56+70+56+28+8) = 246 ways to visit "some" of them.

There's only one way to visit "all" of them, and
there's only one way to visit "none" of them.

So, all together, Louise has 248 travel options.
If she decides to visit Chicago, I will show her a good time.

Guven that the <span>distance d that a certain particle moves may be calculated from the expression d = at + bt^2 where a and b are constants; and t is the elapsed time.

Distance is a length and hence the dimension of distance is L.

Now, at and bt^2 also will have the dimension of L.

</span><span>Time has a dimension of T.

For at, let the dimension of a be X, then
XT=L \\  \\ \Rightarrow X=\frac{L}{T}

For bt^2, let the dimension of b be Y, then
YT^2=L \\  \\ \Rightarrow Y= \frac{L}{T^2}

Therefore, the dimension of a is \frac{L}{T} while the dimension of b is \frac{L}{T^2}.

Q4: Katie and Tyler are working at their lemonade stand. An hour ago, their pitcher of lemonade was 78 full. Since then, they ha
wariber [46]

Answer:

3/8 of the pitcher of lemonade remains.

Step-by-step explanation:

They tell us that at first they had 7/8 of a pitcher full of lemonade, and they ask us to know what fraction is left if they have taken 1/2 of the pitcher of lemonade for a while, which means that it would be a subtraction between what had at the beginning and what they have taken, would be:

7/8 - 1/2 = (14 - 8) / 8 * 2 = 6/16 = 3/8

Which means that 3/8 of the pitcher of lemonade remains.
