Answer:

  x = mn/(1 -m)

Step-by-step explanation:

Factor out x, then multiply by the reciprocal of its coefficient.

  x/m -x = n

  x(1/m -1) = n . . . . . factor out x

  x(1 -m)/m = n . . . . simplify the coefficient of x; next multiply by its reciprocal

  x = mn/(1 -m)

The Rodriguez family and the Hill family each used their sprinklers last summer. The water output rate for the Rodriguez family'
brilliants [131]

Answer:

x = 23.33 hr    Rodriguez sprinkler

y  = 26.66 hr   Hill sprinkler

Step-by-step explanation: INCOMPLETE QUESTION

Requiered information:

the water output rate for both sprinkler families

We assume : Rodriguez family   40 lts/hr

                      Hill family   35 lts/ hr

Total water output  1900 lts

and total combined hours working is 50 hr

Let call  "x"  time in hours sprinkler of Rodriguez family worked

and "y" time in hours sprinkler of  Hill  family worked

Then if total output was 1900 lts

40*x  +  35*y  = 1900    and   x  +  y  =  50

We have a two equation system, solving

y  =  50 - x     ⇒     40*x  +  35 * ( 50 - x )

40x  =  1750 -  35x

75 x  =  1750        ⇒    x  = 1750/75          ⇒    x = 23.33 hr

and   y  =  50  -  23.33     ⇒   y  =  26.66 hr

Answer:

Sunii will make 14 fewer montly payment payments with plan two.

Step-by-step explanation:

Plan one  will take Sunii 24 months to pay off, we can know this by calculating by doing the formula, (total price= base payment/ monthy payment.) so in his case will have this.

Plan one: (750-150=600), then (600/25=24), so it will take Sunii 24 months to pay off his horse.

Plan two: (750-200=550), then (550/55=10), so it will take Sunii 10 months to pay off his horse.

Overall: The 24-10= 14 which would be the diffrence  in time depending on th eplans.
