Third Person's Perspective Perspective and the Third Person's Perspective as an observer

Further explanation

Perspective is a method commonly used by the writer is placing himself or herself from where the writer views the story in the essay he created. The goal is as a strategy to convey the story he wrote so that it can affect the way the presentation of a story.

There are several divisions, namely: first-person perspective, third-person perspective, and mixed perspective. The following explanation:

First-person perspective

This perspective is divided into 2 parts, namely:

 • As a Main Figure / Actor . He will be the center of the story. If there is an event or character outside of "me", the event/character will be told to the extent only related to the "I" character.
 • As a Side Figure . In this technique, the "me" character is the opposite, which is not present as the main role, only the supporting role or additional figures. The appearance of the character "me" serves only to provide an explanation of the story to the reader.

Third-person Perspective

In this technique, the usual word used is "he" "he" or it could be the name of a character or they (plural). This pronoun is used to tell the main character by replacing the plural words in this technique with a story.

This perspective is divided into 2 parts, namely:

 • As All-Know . In this, the author tells what the relationship is with the main character. He was made as if he knew everything about the character, thoughts, feelings, events, even the background that masterminded an event, he was like a person who knows everything about the character he was talking about.
 • As an observer . This technique is not much different from the all-round technique above, but it is not all-knowing of the technique above only the writer tells his knowledge.

Mixed Perspective

The writer can combine the first-person perspective and a third-person perspective. There are times when the writer 'enters' into the story not as the main character and there are times when he is outside the story of being a knowledgeable person or an observer.
