Please someone help - What does this sentence mean? “Please stay positive and keep going.”

STAY POSITIVE means that you should always look at the bright side of things; be optimistic.
KEEP GOING means that you should forge ahead, move forward.

If im correct to me "stay positive" means to have a happy optimistic and overall good attitude to whatever or whoever it may be refering too. "Keep going" in this sentence just means to continue to proceed forward or carry on.
