Explain why you feel like it was important for the pilgrims to write the mayflower compact
Reptile [31]

The Mayflower Compact was important for a number of reasons.

First, it kept mutiny at bay.

But it was also a good first step as the new colonists figured out what rules they wanted to live by.

By setting up a system with majority rule, they ensured that there would always be consensus for decisions and would ensure that everybody would win some and everybody would lose some. The system would feel fair as they faced tough years ahead.

<h2><em><u>The answer is B</u></em></h2>

As trade increased between the eastern world and the western world during the renaissance, certain cities in Italy became major centers of trade and so were able to grow to nation state levels.

These cities such as Venice and Genoa were mostly built along or near waterways and as such, saw goods come into their ports and then people from all over Europe would come to these ports to trade thereby increasing their influence and size.
