2-/3 =answer!
Tip, first cross multiple, and sicne we have negative numbers, we want to see whichever number is smaller, is the answer. If the number is positive, the number that is bigger is the answer.

Well,  -6/5  is more negative than  -1 ,
and  -2/3  is less negative than  -1 ,
so  -2/3  is greater than  -6/5 .

What is the difference of the given values to the correct level of precision?
kari74 [83]

Answer: 16.31 L

22.108 L - 5.80 L = 16.308 L

The reason that the answer is only precise up to 2 decimals is because our least precise measurement goes as far as 2 decimals and you can only be as precise as your least precise measurement

Based on the family the graph below belongs to, which equation could represent the graph?
FrozenT [24]

Considering the asymptotes of the function, the equation that represents the graph is:

y = \frac{1}{x + 2} + 3

<h3>What are the asymptotes of a function f(x)?</h3>

  • The vertical asymptotes are the values of x which are outside the domain, which in a fraction are the zeroes of the denominator.
  • The horizontal asymptote is the value of f(x) as x goes to infinity, as long as this value is different of infinity.

This function, from the graph, has a vertical asymptote at x = -2, hence the denominator is given by:y = \frac{1}{x + 2} + 3

x + 2, as x + 2 = 0 -> x = -2.

The horizontal asymptote is of y = 3, hence:

\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty} f(x) = 3

Which means that the function is described by the following rule:

y = \frac{1}{x + 2} + 3
