Answer:

Heart rate, Oxygen saturation, Respiration.

Explanation:

Heart rate:

Heart rate is the number of times the heart beats per minute. The normal heart rate is between 60-100 beats per minute

At each beat of the heart, blood is pumped out of the heart. The blood carries oxygen to all the body tissues therefore, the frequency of blood pumped, has an effect on the level of oxygen being supplied to the body tissues.

Oxygen Saturation:

Hemoglobin in red blood cells bind with oxygen from the lungs and distribute it to the rest of the body. When there is a shortage of oxygen or a greater need for oxygen, unsaturated blood binds with more oxygen from the lungs and distributes it to the body for use as a compensatory mechanism for the increased need. For oxygen saturation to be optimal, the  lungs function in supplying oxygen and the heart, in pumping blood towards the lungs.

Respiration:

Respiration is the movement of air into and out of the lungs. Respiration follows a normal rhythm and frequency. Respiration rates are different for different ages. For children younger than one; 30-60 breaths per minute, For adults; 10-20 breaths per minute. The respiratory rate decreases over the years between childhood to adulthood.

How did pro slavery supporters justify continuing the practice of slavery in the South
Brut [27]

Hello. You forgot to introduce the answer options. The options are:

A. Slaves were needed to defend plantations against invaders.

B. Slavery boosted the reputations of Southern landowners.

C. Slaves could be traded with other nations for money.

D. Slavery helped slave families stay together on plantations.

E. Slaves were required to grow crops on plantations.

Answer:

E. Slaves were required to grow crops on plantations.

Explanation:

Pro-slavery Americans claimed that slaves were essential to the supply of agricultural products in the country. This is because it was the slaves who did the whole process of sowing, maintaining, harvesting, processing and distributing agricultural products from southern crops. These people who defended slavery, claimed that freeing the slaves would dissolve all this labor and block the productivity of the national agricultural sector.
