The correct answers are B) introducing legislation into Congress and C) calling for an amendment convention.

The two procedures for ratifying and amending the US Constitution are introducing legislation into Congress and calling for an amendment convention.

The ways to ratify and amend the Constitution are the following. When the House of Representatives and the Senate propose an amendment with a two-thirds vote and the three-fourths of the state legislature. Or two-thirds of the state legislatures call on Congress to have a Constitutional Convention, and then, three-fourths of the state legislatures approve it. And two-thirds of the state legislatures call on Congress to have a Constitutional Convention, and three-fourths of the states approve it.

nata0808 [166]

According to the Emancipation proclamation, unless rebellious states (called then as confederate states), or parts of states in rebellion, returned to the union by January 1, 1863, the president would declare their slaves "forever free". Furthermore, the proclamation stated that freedom would only come to the slaves if the Union won the war.

How were the experiences of indentured servants and slaves in the chesapeake and the caribbean similar?
blsea [12.9K]
I think they are slaves and indentured slaves in Chesapeake and Carribean experienced similar situations. Chesapeake Farmers and local owners in the Carribean would often buy slaves from Africa. They would also hire indentured slaves. The only differences would between the two types of slaves is that the indentured slaves can get their freedom after they have accomplished all that is being tasked by their masters. While the African slaves are treated really badly by their owners. They are fed less and that they are forced to work in the fields for longer hours
