Así, es un país con una gran desigualdad de ingresos entre pobres y ricos, así como también un país con un alto grado de corrupción. El narcotráfico también es parte del día a día del país, controlando grandes negocios e involucrando incluso a políticos relevantes. Ademas, la cuestión de las FARC ha dividido a la población colombiana respecto al acuerdo de paz y una posible vuelta a las armas por parte de este grupo.
