After the revolutionary war, how many slaves were free in maryland
Alchen [17]

The question is unclear since after the Revolutionary War is not enough information. A specific date is required but I'll use two dates (1790 and 1860), Maryland had the following statistics:

- 208,649 Whites.

- 8,043 non-white free inhabitants (may include Native Americans).

- 103,036 African Slaves (Including those born in the US).

For a total of 319. 728 inhabitants, only 8,043 were free, that is roughly less than 3% percent of the population which means that the correct answer is:

d: no slaves

Since part of the free non-whites were probably Native Americans and if we use the date 1790 as referential.

If we use the date 1860, Maryland had the following statistics:

- 515,918 Whites.

- 83,942 non-white free inhabitants (may include Native Americans).

- 87,189 African Slaves (Including those born in the US).For a total of 515,918 inhabitants, only 83,942 were free, that is roughly over 16% of the population which means that the correct answer is, for this referential:

b: about 1/3 of the population

It is obvious that even after the Revolutionary War Slavery was thriving in Maryland.

What are the three main causes of world war 2?
Marina86 [1]
The 3 significant causes to World War 1 would be:1. Treaty of Versailies, which forces Germans into accepting Full Blame for WWI. 2.This caused Germany to lose a lot of its lands. 3. Forced them to pay restitution for war dameges to countries like France, and Great Britain ect. 4. (just for the info) This made their leader very angry and it started a whole new perspective upon the nations view point.

What are some negative and positive effects of the industrial revolution
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

The Pros of The Industrial Revolution -

More Efficient Production. ...

Cheaper Prices. ...

Major Increase In Job Opportunities. ...

Spectacular Motivation, Changing The World. ...

Improved Quality of Life. ...

A Loss Of Farming. ...

The Beginning of Pollution. ...

Working Conditions In Factories.

some cons are pollution, unsafe, dirty, long working hours, never any breaks. All of the coal that was used for power became smoke after use. Smoke was directed out of the factory and it would come out outside the factory. Many people got sick from pollution.
