So lets take a look at what we know:

5% of the tickets were discount
100% of the tickets is equal to 60 tickets

From this information we can create the proportion:

\frac{x}{5} = \frac{60}{100}.

Cross Multiply to get 100x=300

Divide 100 on each side to get x=3 .

Three discount tickets were sold.

What is the range in which the integers can be in? I cannot fully answer this question. But I think there could be more than one answer. One answer would be the first is 36 and the second is 66.
