A quadrilateral will be a parallelogram when:
7x+7=21 and (2y-1)^{\circ}=49^{\circ}

So let's solve these equations in order to find x and y:
7x+7=21
7x=21-7
7x=14
x=14/7=2

2y-1=49
2y=49+1
2y=50
y=50/2=25

Solution: x=2 and y=25

Since there is no picture, find here-under the conditions that a quadrilateral becomes a parallelogram:
( All are either or)
1- opposite sides should be congruent
2- opposite angles should be congruent
3- opposite sides parallel
4-The sum of 2 adjacent angles to equal 180°
5 the 2 diagonals intersect in their middle

With any of these conditions, if confirmed, you can conclude that the quadrilateral is a parallelogram (By the way a rectangle is a parallelogram with one angle =90°

She had $3000. She spend 40% of the money in smart TV and 15% of the remainder on Game Set. (a) What % of the money had she left
Dovator [93]

Answer: She had left 54% of the money which is $1620.

Step-by-step explanation:

40% of $3000 = $1200

15% of $1200 = $180

$3000 - ($1200 + $180)

$3000 - $1380 = $1620

$1620 is the money she had left.

$1620 is 54% of $3000

She had 54% left of the money.

Hope that helped~!

In 1960, the population of a town was 14 thousand people. Over the course of the next 50 years, the town grew at a rate of 30 pe
andre [41]

SOLUTIONS

Given: Assume y is the population

\begin{gathered} t=0=1960,y=14030 \\ t=1=1961,y=14060 \\ so\text{ b = 14000} \\ so\text{ k = 30} \end{gathered}

The town grow at the rate of 30 people per year.

y=kt+14000y=30t+14000

(A) The population predicted to be in 2030 will be

\begin{gathered} 2030-1960=70 \\ y=30k+14000 \\ y=30(70)+14000 \\ y=2100+14000 \\ y=16100people \end{gathered}

(B) so when y = 15000, find t

\begin{gathered} y=15000 \\ y=30t+14000 \\ 15000=30t+14000 \\ 15000-14000=30t \\ 1000=30t \\ t=\frac{1000}{30} \\ t\approx33 \\ t=1960+33 \\ t=1993 \end{gathered}

Nimfa-mama [501]
There are 4 reds out of 10 so the probability for a red would be 4/10 and for a yellow it would be 1/10. multiply them together to get 4/100 so your probability would be 1/25 or 0.04 or 4%
