So our main equation for line AB is y=5x+2
We are trying to find an equation for a line parallel to AB

First, we must determine the slope of y=5x+2
m= 5
Therefore any parallel line to AB must have a slope of 5 as well!

Out of all the options, y=5x+3 is the only one with a slope of 5. You can even graph it yourself on desmos!
The equation of a line parallel to AB is y = 5x+3

The correct answer is : A
