Answer: The magnetic field turns off.

Explanation:

An electromagnet is coiled wire carrying current through it. The current carrying loop produces magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field varies with the amount of current and number of turns in the wire.

The industrial magnetic field has ferromagnetic material like iron placed at the center. This increases the strength of the magnetic field.

When the electric current is switched off, the magnetic field produced due to coil turns off.

Sayyid drew a diagram to compare the gravitational and
Jlenok [28]

Gravitational: A.is attractive only

Electromagnetic: C.attracts and repels

Both: D.has an infinite range

Explanation:

The two forces mentioned in this problem are:

- Gravitational force: this force is the force that is exerted between any object with mass. The magnitude of the force is given by

 F=G\frac{m_1 m_2}{r^2}

where

G is the gravitational constant

m1 and m2 are the masses of the two objects

r is the distance between the objects

This force is always attractive and it has an infinite range.

- Electromagnetic force: this is the force exerted between electrically charged objects. The magnitude of the force is given by

 F=k\frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2}

where

k is the Coulomb's constant

q1 and q2 are the charges of the two objects

r is the distance between them

This force is attractive when the charges have opposite sign and repulsive when they have the same sign. It also has an infinite range.

Therefore, we can conclude that:

Gravitational: A.is attractive only

Electromagnetic: C.attracts and repels

Both: D.has an infinite range
