In Indian constitution for a bill to become law it must be “approved by the president and the governor” according to the Indian constitution article 111 give assets to the bill to be passed in both the houses. Normally to sign the bill or to veto it the governor has 12 calendar days after receiving the bill. The governor has time till the annual winter to decide upon the bill that is 30 days or more. Finally it ends up in 60 days and the bills are mostly effective only from the next year.
